Yes, what a strange and unique period of time that was. Different for everybody, but the same in many ways. I had to shop for my aunt who was in her late eighties at the time, and she had a flat in the city centre so I took the opportunity to wander the deserted streets after dropping her stuff at her door. Sometimes I made her back into the lounge so I could take it into the kitchen if it was a heavy week. All with the masks and sanitiser. Did mum and dads sometimes too, although they were slightly younger and were managing some bits from their nearby shop. The city streets were incredible, they’re not even that deserted on Christmas Day. I’ll never forget it, as U guess no one will, especially those who lost loved ones. I sometimes look up things on here and the posts are from 2020 and it takes you right to it, the feelings and emotions. So so unbelievably mad.
