Years ago, I was staying with a French family in Normandy when my hostess (who was probably about 50) gave me a cup of after-dinner mint tea with salt in it, instead of sugar. Mm-hmm. Peut-etre le meno........... (She was mortified, poor soul!)

Okay - the other night I was running the bath; Classic FM was gently purring away in the corner and all was well with the world. I got ready then I turned round to get in - no water in the bath, despite taps running furiously - what on earth had I done? Yes, you guessed it - I'd put the hair-trapping thingy into the plughole, instead of the plug.............

......... I ran water to a depth of 2/3" into our bath recently but the boiler hadn't been on

I bought some perfume from the duty free shop at the airport last week.
I spent ages trying to find a new fragrance & finally decided on Do**e & G - it smelt really nice.
There were 2 sizes to buy that were side by side on the shelf, so I bought the smaller bottle.
I get home & opened the box & I had only bought the bl**dy deodorant stick.
Rather expensive deodorant me thinks.

The deoderant is often just as good as the perfume, I wish they all made one to go with the perfumes, so don't feel bad, I think you found a bargain
