I let OH choose my presents this year  :-X If only he'd left the price tags on I could have returned them.
At a guess he spent 10 minutes in TK Maxx, wasted 50 quid, and the charity shop is getting some "good" secret santa stuff.

I can better that .......... all through the year/s I buy books for myself and store them in DH's cupboard 'cos I'll never remember the titles etc. by the time birthday/Cmas arrives.  He wrapped two books, same titles: 1 hard back, 1 paper back ......... and gave them to me for Christmas  ;D ::):-*  :-*

Could U go through OH's credit cards bills to get a return?

Look at it as 'passing forwards' and rather than Charity shops, perhaps a homeless charity or supporting battered wives?  Have U told OH yet?

Unfortunately no tags on them, and I'm fairly sure he bought them at the beginning of November. I'm not planning to tell him as I don't want to hurt his feelings, and I did try to look pleased when I opened them. They're basically all Christmas decorations so not thinking a charity shop is the best location for them.
