This is my favourite chain so far. I was smiling over tea about the stream of funnies.

Another of my favourites was getting an invite to an end of year review. The review was to celebrate our achievements and was to be held in London. When I looked at the address it was Buckingham Palace!!!! I was soo excited. I thought hard about it and said that really I felt my line manager should go.

I told the consultant who was supporting me with my work and he replied "I think you will find it is Buckingham Place room in a building not of that name"

I enjoyed the mistake!

I wore hold-ups to my Dad's funeral, as I left the Church they began to drift south  >:( but I had to Meet and Greet with my legs together for what seemed like ages and each time I headed to the loo someone stopped me to offer condolances  ;D

Picked up all the tokens to spend.  Drove to the Store.  Wandered round and filled the trolley.  Arrived at the Check-out: handed over tokens ....... girl asks 'when did we begin taking Staples tokens' ............  ::) ....... paid and wandered out nonchantly  :whist:

I am an Avon rep, have been for 16 years, last night i was collecting in books and i knew which books i had to go back for, took notes as usual in my little book, well i re-appeared at this door, told by the man of the house that someone had collected it, lady shouted from next room, "yes, about 30 mins ago, a small lady in a blue jacket called *****" at which point i said "that's me? I apologised and left. I have no knowledge of this, even now, i have counted my books and i must have it, i have re-traced my steps, first time i did that street i was on foot but still can't place it. I really embarrassed about it. Stupid meno brain.

Oh I have complete blanks about whether I have done something or not, even when Hubby explains the situation I still can't recall it!  That aspect of forgetfulness is what bothers me the most  >:(

It wasn't until Hubby went through word by word a conversation we had about 3 weeks ago that I remembered it at all, I had denied the situation totally.  I now know not to 'go off' at him when he tells me "we talked about this already"  ::)

I had a day of it - didn't realise until this morning though  ::) - went to the Opticians yesterday and after the eye-test sailed out of the shop without paying - but didn't realise until breakfast time!

After the Opticians I went to get some keys cut, it was more for 1 key than I had in my purse so told the shop I would go back.  I had my debit card with me though  ::) - later in the afternoon I went to the village shop and asked for the amount of goods to be put onto the paper bill - back home I found my debit card on the kitchen table, I knew I didn't have much case in my purse but
:-\

Off to ring the Opticians!
