What an amazing husband. If you don't like your life as it is only you can change it and go down route you will eventually take.

I’ve recently been experimenting with adding slightly more Sandrena than my usual 1mg. How I have done that is by adding a very small amount from a second pouch (less than a petit pois blob).

The first one lasted 9 days and the second 11 days.  Will be starting a new one tomorrow.  Now either I’m having a placebo effect or this small amount is making a difference - I was getting some health anxiety symptoms which it seems to have eased.

My last blood result was on the low side (139 pmol/L), but I’d say my symptoms were on the whole well controlled besides the occasional anxiety.
HTH.

If its due to Vaginal Atrophy then topical oestrogen will help.
Personally I find Vagifem doesn't help me on the outside but Estriol cream works much better.

...which means digging out a shrub to give it's neighbour more space: but where to put that shrub  :-\ ::)

If you've no more room someone on Freecycle will probably take a shrub.

Koolkat, if your ostradiol is 119 pmol/L, that's quite low.  The postmenopausal range at the lab I use goes up to 189, but it does vary quite a bit between labs.  I'm long postmenopause, in my 60s & my BMS registered gynae advises aiming for 300-800 for optimal symptom relief & bone protection.  But what level we feel our best at also varies quite a bit & within that range might be too high for some women postmenopause.  Hope you feel better for increasing the gel.

Hey all.

I’ve been married for 11 years and we have 2 fabulous children. I’ve never really fancied him but he’s an amazing Dad and dotes on me.

I don’t feel anything!  :'( He does everything - cooking, cleaning, kids, school run - and I work and get waited on.

He is constantly commenting on how amazing I am and beautiful etc. I give him nothing. I feel horrible, I truly feels he deserves more. I feel claustrophobic, I can’t breath or do anything myself (he has ADHD). My daughter also has adhd and they’re bickering etc, it’s so hard.

Am I f’ing this up on purpose? Or am I just in love with him as a man who does everything but as a friend?

He’s in the kitchen, in hysterics, and I’ve got nothing to give him - my only priority is protecting the kids.

Any advice guys? I’m struggling and want to make it all right - but don’t know what to do.

Would vagifem help with reducing the amount of trips to the loo, have been taking Jude with good results however they make me feel nauseous and bloated so looking for an alternative, I’m already on hrt.

Hi Kathleen, I persuaded my hubby to take a photo of the area this morning. He’s been away with work otherwise I’d have asked him to do it on Saturday when it first appeared. It’s not so clear now.
Unfortunately the GP E consult will not allow anyone to upload photos of bums, boobs or genitalia ! Otherwise I’d have sent it today.

Interesting about the Dove shower gel, does it treat lizzards lol

The gel application is such a phaff, especially in the winter. Another reason to up the dose is I had a dexa scan, it was edging on osteoporosis which is a big worry. I am on a mission to up the dose, just need the green light as I had a thickened womb lining of 7.5mm. I dont bleed currently and I only take one Utrogestan, so I expect I will have to double up on that too. Complicated business hormones!
I just thought of another good source for sleep guidance, its the neuroscientist Andrew Huberman - he has podcast all on this

Hello Buffy, sorry to hear about your suffering. I thought I'll share what happened with me so you can have some reference. Hopefully the more experienced/knowledgeable ladies will share their inputs also. I've been on hrt for about two years, and was on 5/6 pumps of Oestrogel daily. I felt okay. I wasn't as observant about my own body though. Then a few months ago (sorry can't recall exactly when) I noticed I had very bad hot flushes daily, late afternoon/early evening; as well as night sweats with pj soaked. I normally feel cold a lot and wouldn't sweat at all while sleeping. This went on so I finally made an appointment with my GP, who suggested straight away that I change to patches. I was prescribed Evorel 100. This was about a month ago. The night sweats are gone and my hot flushes eased too.
I was curious why I had symptoms breaking through on Oestrogel and found this wonderful forum, and read about the problem re the formula and dosage of the "new bottle."
Everything made sense! I filled a yellow card, while feeling angry at the fact that so many women were put through unnecessary suffering as the result of Besins' failed products.
The only obvious thing I noticed with the patch is that I am really bloated and feeling uncomfortable as if I'm having constipation, which has never been a problem for me.
Hope this helps and good luck!
