Thanks both.
As morning gone on it feels more like a period. it's flowing as usually does at start, and have cramping....
Could this be the withdrawal bleed for this cycle? At a loss to know whether to keep taking provera or not!

Hello ladies.
I have also found that either HRT only works for a short time or isn't particularly effective with my range of symptoms. The highest dose I took was three one mg sachets of Sandrena gel and my Oestradiol blood levels were 600. I felt fine some of the time but other times I would feel tearful etc. At 67 I am now using one sachet of Sandrena and Utrogestan orally, with the exception of some vaginal dryness my physical symptoms have resolved but my emotions are all over the place as usual! I have been told by medics and my consultant that HRT doesn't help with the emotional symptoms and I would certainly agree with that! I am aware of other women for whom mood changes have been a troublesome symptom and it is so frustrating that HRT can't resolve everything. Take care ladies. K. |

I changed from applying on buttocks to thigh and it seemed that I didn't absorb as well. I had an increase in symptoms, so changed back.

I agree with penguin. If ever I missed a patch I would have bleeding. It should quickly settle if you carry on as usual.

Hi,
I feel your pain ! I am 56, 2 years ago I stopped my periods but went on hrt to help my anxiety ,even though I’m on anti depressants. Everything great then a year ago started to bleed , then got gradually worse . So I changed my hrt to evorel 100 and utrogestan 3 months ago and I’ve now bled for 3 weeks continuously. I have had a scan and everything is fine , so I’m lost of what to do next ! Any help from anyone ,would be appreciated ! 🙏 |

Hi ….Is there a reason that you changed from Evorel Sequi which is a 50 patch to a 100 patch? You’ve doubled the oestrogen which could be the reason for the sore breasts and feeling not well.
