Ouch, but at least it's now over so you can relax.

Sinus infection has cleared up with the help of saltwater rinses and ibuprofen  :)

I am SO sorry I had forgotten to ask, I did think about your symptoms one early morning.  Did U require the ABs at all?  You are right, 'it's over' - tnx.

Fortunately it cleared up before I could see the doctor. Positive is that it means I didn't need the antibiotics  :)

After a lot of dental surgery on Tuesday my face/gums/jaw have been sore/painful.  Early hours my neuralgia kicked in  :'( >:( any activity on that side seems to trigger the nerve.  Paracetamol and/or Nurofen every 4 hours.

From the neck down, apart from slow bowel, I think ............  :D

Oh yuk are you still in pain, is it no better at all? I had an extraction that triggered a nerve once, did take awhile to go, I tried cbd oil and it didn't work. Does Nurofen help?

Oh CLKD, I can sympathise. I'll never forget the pain I had after getting an impacted wisdom tooth out in hospital - oh dear God it was awful 😫

 :thankyou:

The paracetamol settled the neuralgic-type pain until mid-morning, then it eased on its own.  10 mins ago I did a big salted mouthwash  :-X to cleanse the area and swallowed two Nurofen - bet you thought  ;D

I think the soreness etc. is easing.  I've had a sleep after MotoGP on 📺, now it's BTouring Cars from Silverstone on 📺 where it's drizzling.  Hard.  So lots of slipping and sliding.

Biggest problem: what to get DH to make for tea  ::)

Sorry that you've been in pain for this long. If that always happens maybe you can ask the dentist to prescribe something stronger, although the paracetamol / hurofen combination probably works just as well. It may also be worth asking them if they can take an x-ray or scan to see where your nerves are so they can try to avoid them or minimise any pain in future. I remember my dentist talking about doing something similar, but can't remember what they were going to use.

:thankyou:  that's kind and supportive.  It's beginning to niggle now, lower left cheek inside, I can't quite locate where the pain is from  :-\.  At least the neuralgic pain has eased.  Time for more pain relief followed by a salty mouth wash.

Evening meal eaten.  Ice cream as pudding.

I feel quite strange.  500mg of Paracetamol taken at 2.50 since when I've had pins and needles in hands and feet.  Pain on the Left requires Nurofen now ....... I'm going to send an e-mail to the dental surgery letting them know.  Symptoms aren't continuous as long as I take pain relief in time.

Otherwise, nicely weary having been working in the garden  8)

Oh Puggles, I'll be thinking of you tomorrow.
Like you i'm inclined to get a bit wound up before, eg, a procedure but, I have to tell you, I can honestly say that the outcome is always better than I have envisaged. I always end up wondering why on earth I put myself through the stress  :o...
Like you say, don't look, lie down, big deep breaths and it'll be done in no time....
And then treat yourself to a lovely coffee and cake  ;)

Talk to the staff B4 you submit that Thumb for injection.  Make sure that there will be a numbing jab first ....... and yes, lie down and breathe deeply.  Let us know how you get on.

In bed after my bath, sweetly smelling  ;D

Also wondering why I didn't react a few weeks ago: I was talked at by a representative of the RSPB - trying to get DH and I to become Members. [that's a firm no]. DH wandered off, whilst I was caught in the crossfire of the spiel.  Not once did he pause for breath and several times his eyes went up and down to my breast area.  Enough 4 me to notice!!!!  :o. Now why did I NOT SAY anything  :bang: :bang: :bang:  ....... ‼️ why didn't I call DH back to make a quiet fuss?
