CKLD I'm under Addenbrookes. Had an ECG which was clear anyway. Have been leaving the door unlocked for a few nights in case I have to be carried out with a heart attack and they won't have to smash the very solid front door in. ::)

Hi Sarah. Yes I find them very good, I've never have any complaints about them. I have various health problems so I'm a fairly frequent visitor. Lots of food outlets there too! Thanks very much. X

I woke at 5 and couldn't get back to sleep so I'm ready for bed now but unfortunately have to work. Will be relying on coffee today. It's funny I am usually wide awake at bedtime and want to sleep in the morning. I've heard sleep experts say if we are a natural night owl it is hard wired but I would like to think its not..

We are hard wired to sleeping habits which may have been nurtured whilst growing up.  I believe too that if we enjoy doing things, i.e. getting up at 4.30 to groom the horses, walk the dogs etc., it doesn't matter as much because the brain will compensate.  We sat out last night as it was cool ........ so was an hour later going to my bath.

I always feel more relaxed and happy from around 1pm so that's when I wake up properly and am most productive. I think it's due to lower cortisol than in the morning.

That's interesting, I have been waking up super early because of utrogestan and the heat, but I find I am SO much better, calmer, relaxed from 1pm onwards too. I hadn't thought of cortisol, I'd blamed it on the peak from taking both my anti depressant and the estrogel in the morning then the effects easing off. But cortisol makes perfect sense!

My anxiety levels would ease by the evening, once all my committemtns were done.  I had to learn not to agree to anything in the afternoons or by morning, I would feel so ill  :'(  :-\

Was that in anticipation of what you had to do? That's hard. I find when I'm having an anxiety spiral, it is very hard to plan ahead as I always worry what state I'll be in and how I can get out of whatever arrangement.

CLKD I know what you mean about being anxious anticipating all that needs doing and I have that to an extent too. So on a weekend morning I feel much more relaxed and happy than a weekday morning. Its not even that I don't like work or chores, I haven't quite figured that out, I think it may be natural, natures way of making sure we are alert and don't  make mistakes which could lead to negative consequences. I definitely think hormones play a part though, because in the afternoon I still have loads to do but am much more relaxed at the same time.

I've always had pre-event anxiety: Sunday night B4 school  :-X  :sick02:.  Going to evening concerts.  Approaching holidays.  Worrying that panic attacks would stop me working so would be letting people down, I worked from home.  Never altered from the age of 3 when we moved from a family of 6 to 3 ......  :'(

Not sure what you're all talking about atm (due to my own state, exhausted, woke only an hour ago after being disturbed earlier), but agree with this.

Have a relative staying down the road, lovely person, very functional, but loves opening up the wine.  I find everyone who drinks regularly love to get everything done in the morning and then, when not at work, get back home to relax and drink.  So I'm going to have to try and move my a$$ to get things moving here before she wants to visit, as it will be sometime in the next hour, and I'm shattered.

so that's me.

The heat is getting to me too, but it's because I've got so much work to do, plus ALL visitors wanting to be here in the morning, including any services, etc.  Not a good time for me currently.  It seems no one is working past 2pm anymore.

I know I'm swimming against the tide in general atm.
