Spent an hour with a Phramacist to discuss DH's ongoing shingles rash ..... he's now been given Horse Tablets [anti-virals] which are HUGE!!! 

Stripped our bed, sorted compost which is filling up nicely; laundry whizzing round.  The mugs however didn't get a Very Good Clean in the dishwasher  so once the sun moves off our kitchen, it's all hands into a bowl of hot water 

Feet up, light lunch to hand.

Up earlier than usual 

Spent a long time on the toilet   

Had my shingles jab at 10.45, then into the shops for 'stuff'
Home for light lunch [pork dripping on new bread]

Fed wild birds

Yesterday began sorting through boxes hidden in the spare room  - now I have to find places for it all 
If I can get lots from 5 boxes into 3 that will be a start - charity shop here I come!

Fire lit.  Feet up.

Antivirals work better if they’re given within the first 4 days , I think that’s what my OH was told, BUT as he was miss diagnosed AGAIN, he missed the time line! 🤬
He was still given them, but didn’t do much.
Still has nerve pain now on & off. ☹️

Hope Mr CLKD is coping with it.

I understood years ago that antivirals had to be given within 72 hours, hey ho!  I don't suppose that they will do any harm ......

We/he have cancelled our apps until mid-September.  Now watching Olympics ........ BMX     , now gymnastics mens' final.  Bowl of ice cream to hand.

Mum wasn't good at all today. She's not eating, drinking or taking her meds so I'm all over the place tbh.

Slept.  2.5 hours.  Until the neighbours' Tesco delivery van arrived 

Watching the ladies gymnastics finals then it will be a big bowl with a little ice cream in ........ well what did U think I was going to say

Was cool by the river. So no moaning from me. 

Then went shopping. 😏
