Woke at 10.00 a.m.  Late all day: breakfast, lunch, chores, watching 📺 ......... plus the rain++

Wood burner lit.  Probably too early as we are shedding layers now.   

There's a rumour that C.C. has a pup .......

Fire? I've been dripping sweat. 3days in the pampas, mostly riverbank except for the anaconda in a swamp behind it (sleeping off the capybara it had eaten). 3 days in the jungle which was brilliant. Only me and the guide so we saw a lot more than groups who make more noise. And I have enough mosquito bites to last a lifetime

Grocery shopping this morning, raking the lawn of tons of leaves this afternoon and dog stuff in between

She is growing like a weed.  When she's lying on the floor she almost looks full grown, but she has another 15-20 lbs to go
I think she's going to love the snow, she's such an outside dog.

U can never talk about Maggie too much 

sheila - that would be my biggest worry, anaconda ..... did U C it dragging the capybara into the undergrowth, often the snake lives in a deep root with tail providing traction by being wrapped tightly.  Leaving the head and body 2 do the catching 

Where have you slept/toileted etc. sheila  .  Did U not take DEET with you? 

Walked. Sorted laundry etc..  Same old. Same old

It had already eaten it and was sleeping it off. Yes I took deet but the little barstewards get you on any piece of skin you missed (as well as through my tee-shirt)  . They have camps. No loo seat but at least there's a toilet.

In La Paz atm. They have brilliant pedestrian crossing lights. Little green man that walks then as the lights are about to change he runs faster and faster.

That's some holiday sheila,good for you  the pedestrian crossing reminded me of signs on the road when I was in Ireland,you'd see a "Slow" sign,then at the next bend,a sign with "SLOWER"

Booked the Cockapoo into kennels for our holiday in July! Couldn’t get him into the place we normally take him. Had to pay exactly double for a luxury place nearby 😳. It’s all I could get! He’d better bloomin’ appreciate it! Rooms individually and tastefully decorated, a proper bed and TV 😲.
Blimey, some kids don’t get that! Mind you, he’ll get 4 walks a day. “Oh well” said OH (with a healthy dose of sarcasm!) “that’s alright then!”
