I always buy OH some at Xmas - but not keen on Ferrero Rocher ....but the ice cream lollies are really nice.

Well today took doodle out twice for his walk and nipped in Sainsbury.....nothing special in there and there cash machine wasn't working either.  Battening down the hatches as looks wet and windy tomorrow ::) guess ironing tomorrow

What's that? Ferrero Rocher ice lollies you say??  What in the eat-the-whole-box-in-one-go is going on that I haven't heard of those???  ;D

Enjoy your ironing!  :)  I have very little ironing these days - I've trained my hubby for work shirts to get into crease-free ones, nothing of mine needs ironing(unless we are going on holiday) and two adult sons, one a nurse and one a trainee doctor both wear scrubs that don't need an iron if I hand to dry!    Win win!!

Can't believe it.....thiefing B......ds  - went Aldi, then Asda looking for Saffron.....out of luck at both so went to Sainsbury found saffron at £3.15 small pot....but always pricey :o  then picked it up and looked at the empty glass bottle.

After several shocked phrases looked at customer and said is it me or is this empty....defo someone had opened and re sealed even with the sticky and swipped the saffron out.  Glad to say young assistant found another and off I went.  Paella back on track.

What will take next.....

Doesn’t surprise me Old Frumpy.
There’s security guards on the doors now at our Sainsburys, and we even have to swipe our till receipt bar code to exit the place now. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Peoeple will swipe what they can nowadays regardless. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Been shopping, put said shopping away, started dinner.
Cooked, cleaned, now I’m knackered. 😴

Yes, it’s sad how supermarkets have become unpleasant places these days. I try to go to Waitrose when I can occasionally, it’s the only one that feels like they all used to. Need a 2nd mortgage tho

Waitrose products are generally superior to the others, hence the costs.  A few weeks ago we bought some radishes from Co-op which went 'off' really fast as they had been stored, along with other veg., in the cooler!  Also I understand that when checking out self-service, any item over 5 or 7 requires a helpful person [not] to rescan everything  :-\ leaving the shopper to repack!  Another reason not to use self service.

Now - today: did a supermarket shop, gardening, laundry, dishwasher and more gardening.  DH hoovered our bedroom  :D :-X and removed dozens of spider webs ..... I've hung up the laundry into the various drawers/cupboards and sorted my Summer stuff - though hopefully I can pull some of it out again  8)

I’ve stopped buying all fruit and veg and meat (for OH) from Tesco, absolute rubbish they sell, now go to M&S ,so much better, hubby says their chicken tastes like chicken and not bland plus they’re free range, which helps.

We have switched to M&S too.  Some of their prices are very reasonable these days

Yes they are quite reasonable PLUS you’re getting decent products, was getting fed up of choosing between the least mouldy pepper or least wilted broccoli.

Apart from my gynae visit ( 😬), I’ve mainly, apart from kitten wrangling and washing, been distracting myself with comedy videos and we’ve ordered Korean chicken for tea. Needed something to take my mind off an upcoming general anaesthetic 😕, which will now be living in my head rent free until it’s over. Crap. Spackle.

That's B starved from mid-night then?  I always ask for an anti-emetic prior to GA and it's the best sleep I ever have ;-)

Went of for the fish supper, stuffed now.  Not turning up my nose at chocchy ice cream in a cone though  ;)

Lots - weekend was full of MotoGP from Japan, watched on catch-up at our leisure followed by professional mens' road race in Rwanda.

Rob and Ryan in India - nowt in the programme to encourage me to go to those parts those to see the Himalaya would be nice.

Today we've done more gardening, laundry, dishwasher on.  DH has taken apart the back wall of the fish pond, cut the liner into shape, cleared out the rat 'run' and backfilled it. Wall rebuilt, pump sorted ..........

I've been sorting white stones that have migrated into the borders in the front garden, putting them back where they should be ........ we will then layer the borders with home-made compost and in the Spring if necessary, order in some well rotted manure.  Exercise: cheaper than a Gym membership ;-)
