Been for my Covid jab. 🙀
I got mine last week and I had no reaction other than a bit of sore arm, but I didn't need to take anything for it. The last 3 shots I got sick from for at least a day and I could barely lift my arm.  I don't know why this one was so different, maybe the nurse was alot more gentle with the needle or what. :-\

Morning shift done, got shamed again in front of the kids so that put me in a foul mood. I spoke up but as I figured, it fell on deaf ears.  Came home and decompressed by taking Mags for a long walk, it's a beautiful morning. Having a decaf, and laying off the food...too much eating this weekend.

We actually had two celebration meals, Thanksgiving on Sunday and dh's on Monday. He made a huge lasagne and we have lots left over lol. Needless to say we all overate this weekend. :-[
My supervisor/neighbour at work. She tends to admonish me for my mistakes in front of the kids.

That's bullying in the work place C.C. - take her to one side to ask 'what is your real problem and in front of the children?  Really!?!'

Difficult but needs must.  She should also apologise to the children because she really isn't a good role model - might be worth pointing out that too!  So, it loses you a neighbour?

Eaten my evening meal too quickly  :-\

That’s just awful CC. I feel for you having to put up with that, especially at work.  :-\
Is she like that with everyone or just you?

Ironing, and fell asleep this afternoon on the settee, think this Covid jab has made me a bit yuk now.
The last one made me tired too, my arm isn’t too bad, I’ve had worse.

Yep, I agree, that's not acceptable to be spoken to like that in front of ANYONE,let alone children.
Hope you feel better tomorrow Jill,it's not your pint drinking arm is it? ;D

She has been taken aside in the past, but she feels she's right because she's the "boss". There was no yelling or carrying on, she just pointed out something and made me look bad. She won't apologize to me so no way will she apologize to the children. I have spoken to her about her tone with me and I'm wasting my breath sometimes. The kids were asking me about what happened and I told them it was something they need not worry about and they snickered and said "Miss, did you get in trouble?".

Feeling a tad icky...congestion and runny nose, blew my nose first thing this morning and there was a bit of light blood (sorry), watery eyes (can't wear my contacts), and just tired. I went to work this morning but wore a mask, was told to take the afternoon off.
Had to do some grocery shopping, dd came along to help and she bought me a honey citrus mint tea from Starbucks. Will try to rest for the rest of the day, dh will make dinner.

C.C. - stress can lower the immune system.

"Yep Miss got into a bit of trouble.  I was sad for a while."  Not much goes by kids, so tell it like it is.  They will know what's true and what isn't and that woman's attitude may well enable them to see her in the true light!
