I would rather watch paint dry than cricket  ;D when I was growing up my dad would have the cricket on and no amount of pleading would make him watch anything else, as soon as I could I bought a tv for my bedroom  ::) even when we went to Bournemouth on holiday it was cricket on the car radio and he took a portable radio to the beach

 :bang:

No GP this weekend but it's 25 years since Ayrton Senna and Roland Ratzenberger died during the same weekend  :'( :'(

I often think of that awful weekend as I am dropping off to sleep.  Ayrton was a fav. of mine.  A few weeks after that weekend I went to our local tip and found a framed photograph, probably taken at Stow Ball - paid a fiver for it.  It's around the house somewhere, I couldn't part with it.  I knew as Ayrton spun round that he was dying as his head was rattling like he was fitting  :-\.  Bugga .......... and Ratty in the same weekend  :(

Damon Hill stepped in the next season ........

Men are off.  Get to see the Yorkshire scenery twice without leaving the house  ;)

Cricket is OK.  Gentle.  Very English.  Lazy.  Can be exciting at times.

What colour scheme should Sky have changed to, black with pink doesn't do it for me  :-\ - cleaver how the black blends into the pink though.

Yellow is out, obviously as are green, red and white.  Dimension Data already in black.  Though Cavy is in a white shirt so I can see where he is.  There's red, orange, green and blue .......

Not much choice really but 'black' ?

Nice touch for Cavy to lead out in Huddersfield  :-*

Cav had a look-see but didn't push forwards as he would have done years ago, probably pacing himself to avoid accidents and maintain stamina.

Not a bad finish.

That area of wilderness where the chopper scared the birds  :( is Nosterfield Wildlife Site - old gravel pits made over to conservation but no loos so be warned: we have the camper of course ;-)

Same old, same old - wind, rain - jackets on/off.  Have you seen the sea at Scarborough  :o.  Looks rough and cold and it's a head wind up the finish over the cobbles.

MotoGP - slightly over-cast, a few falls: Cal off and the bike went in about 100 directions but missed him.  They had to re-pump the safety fence with hand pumps  ::)

So you'll know where I am all day  :D

It's a rugby/cycling afternoon for me. It was nice to see Cav on the front yesterday acknowledging the crowds in Harrogate  :)

What a finish!  Worth staying awake for.  Can't get used to the new colours yet and occasionally 'sky' was mentioned in the heat of the moment  ;D

What's to do in Leeds?
