Interesting if you search on this forum for 'backache' and how many complain of this along with anxiety, depression, digestive problems. They could all be copper related. I'm not sure there's anything actually to be done if it is copper dumping due to falling oestrogen. Normally the way to balance copper better in the body is to take zinc but this will mobilise more copper. Gentle exercise, saunas, antioxidants (Vit C and E), avoidance of high copper foods will help. My point was not so much what to do about it, but to point out that there may be a cause for symptoms that scare us, that won't get identified by doctors, and that there may be an explanation for. I have a need-to-know brain! This is not to say that you shouldn't get symptoms checked out, because you absolutely should. But when you have done all that, drawn blank after blank at the doctor's and still have symptoms, this might be something to consider. And it should pass. And it's not life-threatening.
Or it could be pancreatic cancer. Lol. KAH - I am with you in spades. x
