I do apologise - I keep asking questions like an overwired puppy.

But - what time of day is best to apply the gel? Morning or night? I'm just doing one pump daily.

I rub my gel in just before bed. It seems fine x

I haven't used gel but maybe it might depend on your symptoms. For example if sleeping is your problem maybe evening might be best.

I haven't used it either - well not estrogel but I do use testosterone gel.

I also think it depends on your lifestyle and perhaps the time of year and where on your body you apply it. If you have children or pets and are worried about transfer (eg if you live in a hot country or in the summer) you might want to apply it at night (depending on where you apply it) to avoid transfer as you should not have close persistent bodily contact for at least an hour. If you like to entwine with your partner in bed at night and eg apply to inner thighs, then the morning would be best. From reading on here some women split the dose.

I apply my T gel in the mornings - but then I wouldn't need to worry about that transferring to my husband - in fact he might even benefit from it .

Using it morning and night seems to work the best for me. When I was applying it only in the morning I still had some annoying night sweats but then I read here that some women were using it twice a day so I tried that without changing the dose and it has really helped. Years ago a pharmacist told me that estrogen could be stimulating so it should be used in the morning and that made me hesitant about applying it at night but honestly I find it helps my sleep because I'm not sweating!
