Sorry you are feeling so anxious.
Please may I ask, why didn't you give the HRT patches a bit longer to work.
I get horrible anxiety and depression too, and I have had my new dose patch on just 10 days.
I dunnno if my flushes are subididng, or, it's just that the weather has got a bit colder.
10 days is too sooon to tell.
For many women, HRT can feel funny until it kicks in.
The risks are tiny, Dr Annie Evans put the risks into perspective in one of her videos but sadly I dont have a link to it, you can go on youtube though.
The valium is like an emergency drug, not good long term. It has a really long half life also which means you can't take it too often, as the last dose is still in the system.
My mum used starflower oil when she wanted to come off hrt after 5 years on it and she said it worked.
Magnesium is a great muscle relaxer and can help with sleep.
If you get magnesium, go careful as it is a laxative, but magnesium glycinate or magnesium maleate are not so laxative and more bio-available, meaning less of it is excreted out of the body.
