Wish mine could cook just a teeny tiny bit. Microwave is his best friend!
Now my SIL he can cook, manages to throw ingredients together & make good food.

Mine can cook and his speciality is curry and a really good roast dinner.
I taught both my kids to cook and the really keen one is my son, he will cook all sorts.
For us tonight. BBQ sausages and chicken wings with a salad. I'm trying to use up what's left in the fridge and I've got so much salad stuff ready in the garden too.

Spicy stew( courgettes, tomatoes, peppers, onions and as many variants of chilli I dare add) with canellini beans( note to self but chickpeas at Lidl), chilli sausages and chilli halloumi- seemed a good idea till I remembered I'm on antibiotics.

It's very rubbery - you couldn't eat it raw but you slice it and grill or fry it till brown - lovely on top of garlicky big mushrooms ( not that I can eat them now with stoma) - nice in veggie kebabs too - quite salty.
Now I've made myself hungry again!

No give it a try CLKD, it's almost steak like in it's texture and absorbs flavours really well.
