No need to spray pledge on spider, just around window frames to stop them comming in. I don't kill 'em. x

How do you know they come in through the windows?
We dont seem to have spiders upstairs, just downstairs and I dont leave the windows open downstairs. Unless they dash in when I open the front door, I think must come in some other way.

Oh good grief!
Its pouring with rain today here, so beastie might want to come in, especially as cooking a roast, and window ajar!!!
I can't see much difference in them being upstairs or downstairs?

You are not likely to meet an octopus in your bedroom CLKD.
Why do you hate them?

My niece has just sent me this You Tube of the Peacock spider. It has the most amazing courtship dance and it isn't as scary as it sounds. I am putting it here in case those of you who like spiders haven't seen it.

Would himself agree about octopus in the bedroom CLKD?!!!
Taz, this daft spider routine, is not normal for me during Autumn and I think it might be just be easier to get a spider catcher! I live in a first floor flat, so if Littleminnie's theory is right........
Haven't plucked up the courage to watch spider u-tube yet.

Good CGI Taz
........ a bit too choreographed to be true ?
it's pouring here so spiders are knocking on the windows to be let in

Taz
The peacock spiders actually looked quite cute (can't believe I'm saying that).
They look like they are made of pipe cleaners ( memories of arts and crafts classes at school) but I still wouldn't want to be up close and personal with one!

There is this one too - at around 4mins in you can see that the movements are quite rhythmical but I agree there could be some editing on the first one to make it more dancy
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GgAbyYDFeg
and at about 5 minutes in you can see him come to an untimely end - eaten by the lady...

Sat down with my evening meal in front of the TV and there was ONE
fortunately not creeping about the sea bed for more than a few seconds but my meal was almost on the floor as my feet crept underneath me
-I HATE them.
