wow babyjane, that's lovely though I'm sure someone somewhere was getting a soaking.

Don't worry about complaining about the heat sparkle, it must be awful. Looks like it will be sunny here tomorrow and 17 degrees (wow!).

Too hot to sit outdoors, thank goodness for sport!  40C in France yesterday, not comfy for the cyclists as the heat was reflected from the tarmac.  Lovely here by 8.30 in the shade  :)

We had a lightning storm similar too - no noise so it must have been miles away! and no rain .......... and not mentioned on the storm records which is based on the Isle of Wight.

 :sunny: Making the best of it today - breakfast al fresco with sister -walked our dogs on beach after - and stretched out on sun lounger all afternoon.  :)  Started new diet (recommended by Claire Snowdon Darling) never ate as many calories in my life!! A sin to call it a diet  ;D ::)

I diet every day: what ever I fancy ........... and I soon 'go' off food stuffs so it's an Always Changing Diet ;-)

It's been sunny, not as hot: 21 instead of 28 : but muggy now .........
