Mary might be a silly question but once u started the 75mg how long did yiu realise it had stopped the fluctuations? Was it right away or like 1 week? 2 weeks?

Vicky, for me it took about a week to take effect.  Once FSH and LH are suppressed, it takes about a month to come back if you stop taking Cerazette so a bleed break should be OK if you need one.  If you don't get any improvement after a few weeks you could go up to 150mcg.

Apparently Cerazette is more effective than Yasmine/Slynd for shutting down FSH and LH.

I really hope this works out for you.

So I have cerazette and synd here now. No bleed yet ....
So just so I have this right ......you ladies don't think slynd woukd be strong enough to halt my ovaries? It's 4mg and in yasmin it was 3mg.and it does say on the internet that it does stop ovulation....im just a bit indecisive as im sensitive to medication but i do agree with mary that the 75 cerazettesoubds great. Only reason im more leaning towards synd is the fact its got the sane progesteronein as yasmin that i was on since 2022 .....so it nay be kinder??? Bombshell any thoughts? Woukd it be enough? This isbt md being funny or snuthing but why would the manufacturersmake it at 4mg if it didnt supporess ovulation? Only me asking as a joe bloggs on the street and no expert here lol .......just seeing what replied and thoughts you guys have xxxx

Vicky, I've used both and I can only go by my experience but as far as suppressing FSH and LH is concerned, Cerazette is more effective and a 75mcg dose will achieve that.  That why it was far more effective for migraine aura prevention.

Why don't you just try it?  If it doesn't work out you can go back to Sjynd.

Unless you need birth control there is no point adding cerazette to provera. At best this will do nothing, at worst you may suffer further unpleasant symptoms from taking more progestin than you need.

You could switch from provera to a double dose of cerazette (150mcg) every day.

This would provide contraception, protect your endometrium, keep you bleed free and most (but not all) find it less unpleasant to take than provera. It is also more metabolically favourable.

This is unlicensed for endometrial protection but supported by the BMS based on available evidence and increasingly used by specialists where micronised progesterone is unsuitable.
Bomb did see somewhere here that you just do the cerazette back yo back no pill break bleed? I coukd be wrong xxx
