Hi Tra

You don't say at what stage you're at?
Are you still having your own periods?
If you are taking Utrogestan, at 100mg especially, it will not stop your own cycle going on.
I was the same as you - my period came on time every 'month' (less than a month for me) so it was hard to synch the withdrawal bleed with my own period. So, you having your own period is 'normal' on utrogestan, I know you're supposed to try to synch it but unless you have a straight 28 day cycle it's hard!

There are other, synthetic progesterones you can use which will stop your own cycle if you prefer not to have a bleed
I think Utrogestan is prescribed though because it is seen as the best for us, as it is as close to being bioidentical as there is.

It's great that you are feeling better for the use of HRT though!
it's amazing isn't it, feels miraculous when the sweating etc stops!

Hope you continue to feel better and better as time goes on!  :foryou:
