Hi Twin,
Pipelle biopsy is generally a much quicker procedure than a hysteroscopy and easy to say I know but try and not to worry too much, in the big scheme of it all its good to have it done for peace of mind and IF anything needs to be addressed after the pathology then it can be.  Take your time and let them know that you are feeling anxious.  It will be done before you know it. x

I’ve had the pipelle biopsy.    Wasn’t pleasant.    The actual biopsy was fine, I felt it. It was ok.     What was painful was opening the cervix. (I had c section so no labouring)
He said he didn’t think he could get in and might have to go back for hystercooy.     I said nooooooo try again.    And it worked.   I did cry a little, pain, shock and relief it was done.    I also had a little vertigo when I got up which apparently is normal as the cervix triggers the heart.
2 - 4 weeks wait for results by letter,   Or they’ll ring to make the next appointment.     He did say he’s thinking it’s ok but you never know.
