Cycling - 2025
« on: March 15, 2025, 09:40:58 PM »

Sadly this will be the final year when ITV will broadcast 'free to air' coverage of many of the big races including le Tour  :'(  :-\  :'(

So no more 3 weeks on the sofa for us in July as the commentary team on other formats are more 'about themselves' than the races and show hi lights rather than the whole day's events.  Happened in the US apparently a few years ago which is why people over there have lost interest in cycling overall.

David Millar has another job, don't know what Ned will do - both are quite shocked after years of commentating.

It's going to be on TNT sports channel on Discovery+. If you have BT for your broadband you can get it through them.

We R hoping so.  But it won't be the better presenters ......... and will be a round up and not all day coverage.
