They’re the same tablets - just don’t put them in your mouth. 😃

I have coeliac disease so the less that goes through my stomach the better.
My GP has never prescribed them for vaginal use - I choose to take them that way - she’s aware of the way I take them and is ok with it .

I’m thinking of asking gp if I can do this …. Am worried they will have a fit, as not licensed ( my trusted gp just retired)…. Should I just try it? Should it make it absorb better/ less symptoms?. I’m sorry you’re coeliac, that’s rough. I’m not, but hoping to get back on an even keel somehow. Thanks

Vaginal use is licensed and commonly used in many other countries, it is perfectly safe just not licensed in the UK due to economic reasons not any safety issues.

Vaginal use is supported by the BMS and many menopause specialists.

As long as you take the dose you are prescribed, your GP doesn't need to know you are using it vaginally.
