Well it’s been a week since my hysteroscopy and biopsy under GA. The waiting is hard - no results yet. Trying to distract myself but not easy.  Hopefully I will hear next week now.

Were U given any idea as to when results might be back, R they being sent to your GP ?

With a weekend plus any staff shortages it may be a while B4 results are read and reported on.  If U haven't heard by Wed mayB ring the dept to see what progress has been made.  Or U could ring your Surgery to C whether they have been e-mailed through?

It's the waiting that is tiring, once I've had a diagnosis I can deal with what ever is required.

I had hysteroscopy and a second biopsy 4 weeks ago yesterday, my local hospital quoted biopsy results can take up to 4 weeks. Hope you hear something soon, it’s the waiting and not knowing that causes such anxiety.

Still waiting. I’ve checked my NHS app and GP records but nothing yet. It’s so hard just trying to plan ahead not knowing what I’m planning for.

I was told 6-8 weeks for results.

That’s a long time - I’d hope if they were concerned it would be quicker than that!!!

Yes…..the consultant said I’d hear quickly if they were concerned.

I'm waiting for a biopsy and the when I've gone on google, it says results usually take 1-2 weeks but can take as long as 6 weeks. It makes the point though that you shouldn't read anything into the length of time it takes.

I hope you get good news.

Update: phone call this morning and results are in and everything is all clear. There was possible evidence that there was a puncture in uterus during procedure but I’ve been fine. So discharged. It’s a relief. Thank you everyone for the support xxx

Caz24 ....hope all goes well for you on Thursday. I had mine a year ago under GA and was an anxious wreck....everything was fine, the nurses, drs etc take really good care of you and you're home before you know it x
