.........Imvexxy twice a week and estragyn cream once or twice a week.
If you don't feel you're any further along than you were weeks ago, this may suggest that you're not using enough.

Did you do the 2 week daily use for a start or just go straight to the twice per week with the Imvexxy?

The Gyneo did not want me to do a two week loading. Originally she said once a week than verbally changed to twice a week.

Yes, Imvexxy is quite costly $65 for 12 pills and I am fighting the Gyneo to change the script to twice a week.

There are a lot of naturopathic drs who are trained in menopause and able to prescribe hrt. But you have to pay out of pocket.

My issue continues to be internal, a small diamond shape wound. I feel it when I put the cream on it my finger.
No idea how I got it. But when I look inside (daily) I see it. I wish I could put a bandaid on it. But guess if where it is located any movement I do rubs the wall alongside the other wall. And urine is my worst enemy at the moment.

I will chat with my naturopath tomorrow to see what more I can do.

This is one thing that really is worth paying out of pocket for.

It doesn't sit right with me either, but I would rather put my health before my principles, and make other cutbacks on spending if necessary rather than go without necessary medical treatment because the state system can't or won't provide it.

I agree.

Before all this started I didn’t know what to make of naturopaths, had my own ideas of what they were. Or even specialized clinics. There is a huge need for them as our medical system does not support women going thru this time.

However, there are quite a few trained and do their due diligence when it comes to menopause. They create a plan for you, do extensive blood work, hormone therapy, check ins etc. listen to your symptoms.  To get you back on track. Yes it is out of pocket but it’s their job to help you thru menopause.

Get pro active and write to the Menopause Foundation of Canada and ask why topical oestrogen is not yet available to buy over the counter as it is in the UK. Why is it you have to seek help from a naturopath for menopausal symptoms which can have such an adverse effect on the body, its as if the women of Canada are second class citizens and their symptoms ignored. I feel this society is not fit for purpose and simply not doing enough for women's health in menopause.

Trust me I know this.

People have no choice but to seek alternative care because drs including my GP are simply not educated properly about menopause. Depending on which naturopath you go too many are very well versed in menopause and can prescribe hrt or bhrt.

Creams should be made available

We don't have Imvexxy here in the UK but I've just been having a look online and everything I've found, including the patient information leaflet in the box, states a two week loading dose. I have no idea where your doctor is coming from with the restrictions she's put on you. I also found two different strengths which is a bit confusing.

Do you have online pharmacies where you can have a virtual consultation and buy it yourself? Even if it's just to top up what your Dr is prescribing.

You really need to get on top of this as I can hear your frustration.

I am speaking with my naturopath tomorrow and hopefully we can come up with a plan. She does prescribe hrt so she be able to guide me a little bit better.  She wanted to put me on systematic to begin with where the Gyneo said no.

My GP god love her young doctor, admitted to not really being trained in menopause and that drs are not properly educated in menopause.

I had high hopes for the Gyneo she is so busy and lots of people know of her. So disappointed with how she dealt with me in the end.

Our healthcare is in shambles free healthcare is not all that is cracked up to be.

Update:

I did see my gp who admitted she was not an expert when it comes to issues down there. She and I are waiting on a new gyeno next week at a menopause clinic.

My question is as follows. When this whole thing started Oct 13, I have a picture I had irritation on only one side.

Today when she looked she noticed more irritation on the left side. When I look I see more red/pink as well.

She also has not seen my vagina since Nov, so with the clobestol treatment and antibiotics and now estrogen it likely has changed right?

However, I am getting more comfortable with the cream. And understanding to use as needed. I don’t use a large amount pea sized but I get and understand the need for it now. I tend to suffer from full body dryness so just adding it to my total skin care routine.

Until I see a dr who can tell me otherwise this is what I do. I am waiting till next week to talk about adding systematic estrogen as well most likely compounded cuz I am way to sensitive to meds.
