I think over the years Andy has stolen the 💕 s of many. It wasn't expected that the pair would go very far
.
Another day. Another sitting in front of our 📺 keeping out of the way of the heat. Last night DH had my laptop on the Olympic archery, his laptop on 🏏 💯 s whilst I was watching the gymnastics on the tele

I should have my laptop open but I think Olympics will win over writing an essay which requires me to open medical journals and books. Roll on Decemeber to graduate.

too hot to fill the brain with details
. Good Luck! I typed at least 8 Thesis on an upright machine using Tip-ex ....... they were chemical based so lots of gaps to be left so that the Researchers could fill in with a special pen

There's been some sports that I have been totally unaware of: this afternoon we watched 4 people in single canoe-thingies being dropped from a height into fast swirling water to race each other: they had to do a roll over as well as negotiate various 'gates'. Criky. What on earth encourages any1 to start it
........ they are all in their late 20s onwards so probably they need to build up core and upper body strength over those years.
Has any1 seen the GOOGLE today
JS79 - did U watch or did U get on with the Essay ?

Criky another sport that I wasn't aware of. Now it's wall climbing secured by ropes .......... I might: when younger : have had a go at that! Upper body strength and not looking down is probably imperative
Off 2 look at the GOOGLE for today.
Now free wall climbing - girls !!!

What makes these people try out these 'sports'
- I can't touch my toes, I do wonder whether I would have tried skate boarding or wall climbing even though I don't like heights: being roped may have made a difference. Thank goodness that I no longer have to try them

Oh I almost killed our games teacher when I let a discus 'go', I was practising. Honestly
I HATED hockey, dangerous and always in the rain. Cross country the same
. Swimming however ..... especially as lessons got me out of maths ;-).
How's the essay writing? Nearly completed?

Interesting article on the BBC website regarding how sexual differences occur at the early stages of development. It appears that we are all female until the testosterone kicks in which if there isn't enough input to make a male embryo, they may be born without a penis but still have testosterone levels in blood tests.
The more research that takes place the more will be discovered. A friend of ours lived with a 'girl' who wanted to live as a lad when he reached puberty but very little was discussed or known about issues in the 1950s/60s.

I wondered how, on Sat morning, the Press were full of Katerina Johnson-Thomson's success which happened late the previous evening. Talk about 'hold the front page'!
Last night I began watching the closing ceremony but it was like paint drying!
All over 4 another 4 years, no doubt some issues will rumble on. And on. And .........
