After reading so much research on GSM (VA) the treatments are so low risk that you can be in charge of the condition yourself without outside intervention.
I feel if you give too much information to GP's and pharmacists they will tell you that you are overdosing as most will go by the official guidelines, and whilst we wait for those guidelines to be changed, rightly or wrongly we have to keep mum!
It can take months for the treatment to work and patience is needed but if after such time and one is still getting symptoms then that's the time to seek further help as it might mean something else going on.
Strictly my own view on this from my own experience and some health officials.
Thank you Ayesha. I have learnt to take advice from people, who are living with the same condition as myself. We are all different and not just a box to be ticked. As i have mentioned before, I have had kidney disease for 9 years. Believe me, some medical professionals are clueless. I was put on high doses of steroids. Never slept for 2 days. When I spoke to my consultant about it..he announced he had never heard of steroids causing insomnia?

Same with a BP medication I was on. I started getting bad joint pain. Told it was my age and not the medication. Googled it and found other people complaing about sudden joint pain on this pill. Changed pills and joint disappeared. Now I research and Google everything. We are always told at the hospital not to Google things. I Google EVERYTHING now. Thanks for your posts. They always contain excellent advice x
