Estradot availability and alternatives
« on: February 11, 2024, 11:03:30 AM »

Hi all, not been on here for a while.

I am having a mirena fitted so need to change my HRT. Having read lots of posts on here over the years I thought I'd try estradot 50. I am currently on evorel conti.

When I went to the pharmacy they said there were supply issues with estradot. They thought they may be able to get it, but I want to be prepared if they can't.

Any recommendations for alternatives? Evorel 50 is an obvious choice I guess. Just wanted to see what people think.

Hi if you’re used to using Evorel Conti then Evorel 50 would be a good choice.  Estradot are a lot smaller but there are supply issues.

You could ask for Estradot 100 and just cut it in half... (diagonally)

As you know evorel suit you I'd be inclined to stay with it. Evorel doesn't seem to have the supply issues estradot has.
