Hi all. Northerngirl was scheduled to have her hysteroscopy yesterday by GA.  Anyone heard any news? I know I was fit and active the same evening but I know she was very anxious about the procedure plus I'm wondering if they ended up keeping her overnight?
I have DM'd her, no response so I hope all I'd OK.

Hi ladies, I'm ok...glad that bit is done. Consultant said everything looked ok as far as she could see....no polyps or anything, so just the lining to worry about. Just a waiting game for results now. Thank you all for trying to keep me calm over the past couple of months. Still anxious about the possible result but at least I now feel like I'm finally getting some answers.

Thats good news you got through everything,  I was beginning to worry.
I know you've got to wait for the results but surely if you had cancer advanced enough to give the symptoms you have, it would have been visible to the consultant- mine certainly said they can usually tell what the results will be just by looking with the camera.

Hi northern girl,
    Please don’t worry about biopsy results my consultant told me he found no abnormalities so fully expected biopsy to be normal and it was.I also had months of anxiety.I have gone 5 mths and started a period not sure if I am peri or it’s post menopausal bleed as been on hrt til last summer so dr wants me to go for a scan again so all the anxiety is back again

I'm ok considering this nightmare wait just continues. No biopsy result yet....I know it's back but the secretary couldn't tell me anything as the consultant hasn't seen it yet. I will update as soon as I get the result.  Thank you for asking.

 I would hope that because they know how anxious you are that they might hurry things along a bit. Fingers crossed it’s soon x
