Furyan, that is very interesting. With progesterone, it's all about dose in my experience and if you get it wrong and take too much it's lethal. One of the many problems with Utrogestan is its lack of flexibility. I tried taking it every other day but it triggered my silent migraines.
I'm now trialling Cyclogest @50mg but not every day. I'm interspersing it between my progesterone gel because I've decided to try a mix and match approach. Dose accuracy is not great because the wax pessary crumbles slightly but it's as near to 50mg as possible. So far so good with zero side effects but not as calming as the progesterone gel. I'm due a scan soon so it will be interesting to see if the womb lining is below the 5mm danger level.
Tribbins, what dose of Cyclogest were you taking? Sorry to hear your migraines have returned but that will be because of the drop in oestrogen which in turn reduces seratonin levels - I have the same sub type of migraine. If you have problems with progesterone, it would be better to go for the lower dose Myleena or Jaydess coil. A Mirena might be too high a dose for you.
Scampi, I hope this is helping.
