Hi

I know this is an old post, and I note no one has responded, and not sure if you still need to know.

Yes, I've had this done,  myosure is the removal of polyp(s).

Hi, I had this procedure 22nd Jan and 5 weeks later I still have pain.

Thankfully all benign which is great. But feel like wearing a tight belt. It was hysteroscopic myosure without GA.

Does anyone know if this is normal? I feel something is wrong. Trying mefenamic acid and hot water bottle now.

Spoke to GP after 3 weeks cos felt it was slow. She did say it can take 8 weeks.

I'm still not excercising like usual at all either.

Thanks all xxx

Hi orangey1

Do you mean pain from the actual procedure?  If so, this isn't right, you shouldn't be still feeling pain this long after, in fact, you shouldn't be having any pain straight after the procedure.

The only feeling after a procedure should be stomach ache, like period pain, and maybe some contractions, but all this should stop shortly after.

I've had 3 of these procedures, however the 1st was cancelled as doctor couldn't get the rigid tube in due to shape of my cervix entrance. All 3 were done without ga.

Don't know why yr gp said 8 weeks, that's not in the leaflet literature given by the hospital, and not mentioned by the doctors and nurses there.  They say you can carry on with normal activities straight after, there is no recovery time.

Thanks I'll contact GP today.

I did do a small pilates class but it wasn't that hard and walked 10k steps but that's quite light couple days for me.

Maybe it's infection or something.

Thank u
