It all went pretty well in the end. I had a cannula out in the back of my hand, then after a few minutes of feeling normal I started to feel a very nice "spaced" out warm & peaceful sensation wash over me - very vaguely a sensation of something going on in my mouth, then someone stuffing a big wad of cotton wool/gauze at the site & that was it!

All over in about 15 minutes. A bit of pain after 4-5 hours but paracetamol/ibuprofen is helping.

I've had a quick look & wish I hadn't  it looks very odd so will keep an eye on it.

Thank you for the update. It is wonderful to hear it all went okay and you are back home. Do not scare yourself by looking at your mouth! It will look sore but it will heal.

Tnx for the update.  Don't bend over for a few days and keep up with the pain relief.
