A man who was removed from his role as Scotland's first period dignity officer has settled his case out of court. Jason Grant sued the partnership that hired him last year, on the grounds of sex discrimination, with the case set to call next March.       24 Oct 2023

It's just ridiculous, how could a man possibly EVER know, what period pain feels like, what having heavy periods is like, menopause etc,it needs a woman

Even if the CEO has an idea of how a Charity/Company might work, no one actually knows the basics of why/how/where4s.   [a bit like UK Government  ;D ]

An amateur cyclist: supposed to be the 1st openly gay competitor: feels it's not 'right' for trans-women to be banned from pro. womens' cycling events.  Quite frankly IMO it's nowt to do with him.  He may be 'top' in his events .......... I wonder how he would feel if trans-men began beating him !?!?!

He was on the News last night, sparking controversy.  Many Sports Governing Bodies are not allowing trans-athletes to compete against women.  Even if they transitioned prior to puberty which is very unlikely.  Due to high testosterone levels which will out-compete women.  I have Sharon's book [the swimmer] to read next.

It's absolutely ridiculous,a trans woman will usually always beat a real woman, they retain their strength and usually their physique  >:(

As well as greater heart and lung capacity. It's irrelevant if their testosterone levels are low when they compete, the physical advantages they gained during puberty remain for life.

Agreed.  Which is why Sharon and others are speaking out and writing books with lots of statistics etc..  Some of which is usually way over my head  ::)

Probably not even 1%, yet we're supposed to pander to them. It's getting ridiculous. Whatever happened to democracy?

Totally agree getting old,the last one that made my blood absolutely boil (not gender related) was poor Fiona Bruce, apparently she was vilified because she picked a person in the audience of question time by saying "who's next? Yes,the black guy" she was crucified but the 1% gang, probably mostly white put the boot in and she had to apologise, then this man came forward and said......but I AM a black guy lol

So glad to read the U.K. government has overruled the SNP in this ridiculous gender recognition rubbish. Hopefully the SNP will be OUT in Scotland at the next election
