I wonder how you find someone who is skilled in treating these problems?

I would expect the people who do the trans surgeries are best qualified to provide ongoing care as they know the procedures that have been carried out.

I guess it would depend what the presenting problem is? I mean, without cervix, uterus and ovaries transvaginal scans, smear tests etc would not be required. There'd not be vaginal atrophy, maybe thrush or other conditions. But I can't see what biologically female problems down there could happen in am artificially constructed vagina.  I honestly don't know. Infections maybe? In which case surely a GP or whatever doctor is responsible post surgery? This is me being ignorant though,  as I genuinely can't think what could happen 🤷‍♂️

I have no idea what changes are made, but I'm guessing they're not the same as you're born with, hence the need for people who've done these surgeries to provide aftercare.

NHS Wards [ Does "man" offend you? ]

Transgender people may be banned from single-sex hospital wards under plans to restore "common sense" in the NHS, the health secretary says.

Speaking at the Conservative party conference, Steve Barclay announced a consultation on strengthening the protections in place for women.

NHS guidance issued in 2021 said trans people may be placed on wards according to the gender they identify as.

The change would stop that with trans people given their own rooms and areas.

But doctors have questioned whether there are the facilities available to achieve that.

I wish I had something constructive to say but, TBH, I have “transgender fatigue!”

Oh I know songbird, I think the media like to make things worse than they really are.
I do think that if a trans woman, has completely changed to a woman, all the ops etc, then they should be treated as a woman but not these idiots who slap on some make up and SAY they're a woman
