Yes Flossie, thank you, my usual one is pretty good, but I have to wait to speak to her.

I spoke to another GP yesterday as I was desperate and I explained I wanted to change my antidepressant, as I didn't know which way to go....  I spoke by email to a hrt specialist last Sunday and she suggested that because these symptoms happened, this time when I came of the utrogestan for my bleed, she suggested taking it everyday.  I am 5 days in taking utrogestan daily, 100 rather than 200 every 15 days for 12 days.  Still pretty bad 😬.

So I thought I would do anything to feel better, and rang the on call GP to change my antidepressant.  This GP was a bit dippy but lovely and was a bit hesitant and wanted to increase my Sertraline to 150 from 100.  I wasn't keen so I said I would try fluoxetine again.  Now I feel back to square 1 😪😪😪❤

It is difficult. Your anxiety could be hormonal which would mean the HRT needs tweaking. Do you think you may be intolerant to progesterone?

Thanks Flossie 🥰.

I'm not sure to be honest, as there isn't any particular pattern when the pounding heart happens,  on hrt or without it 🤷‍♀️ i really wish I knew what makes it worse or even better xxx

I have tachycardia. This means I get heart palpitations. They come out of nowhere and they really hurt. I did see a specialist who said they are not serious and if I wanted I could have an ablation. Could this be what you have?

I did visit a cardiologist a few times.  I've had all the heart tests going ❤

That is very reassuring as it means your heart is healthy. I am sorry they cannot work out the cause. I know it is worrying for you.

I don't want to sound like 'poor me', but I really think I am a lost cause.  I read that these symptoms go on for years, or for the rest of your life 😪 I can't cope with the anxiety xxx

You do not sound like 'poor me'. You are anxious and sharing your concerns. What has your DR said about your worries?

The GP just increased my gel.  In the beginning,  I thought it would work but 1 and a half months on the increase, I've been anxious and heart all over the place for over a week 😪😪 I'm so lost and nobody seems to know how to rectify it xxx

I'm worried my next stop will be a psychiatric hospital 😪

It is very hard to be accepted in a mental health ward so you need not worry about that. You are anxious and struggling but this does not mean you need to be sectioned.

It does sound like you need more support. Maybe you need to stress how bad you are feeling to your DR and tell them how much you are struggling? Sometimes it can be so hard to let others know how much we are struggling.

I am sorry you are feeling so desperate. I would ask GP for something like diazipem to take in emergencies.
