Annoyed.  Went along to the GP Surgery to book my shingles jab: apparently I'm not eligible  >:(.  Also I was told that my DH had had his booster in June.  Nope, it was cancelled by myself.  We R as you know, joined at the hip  ;D

Now I'm waiting for a Nurse to call about appts. etc.

Otherwise, too hot  :sweatdrop:

Also: the cotton wool pad seems to have the ability to soak up more lotion than I can dab on DH's rash  >:(

CLKD good grief if you want to speak to a nurse ring and make an appointment to do so.
Strangely enough practice nurses are busy people with more to do than humouring those throwing hissy fits.
N.B They may well view cancelling a jab appointment as throwing a hissy fit. Incidentally why would you want the jab when you had cancelled your husband's?

I’m good today.
Really tired yesterday, but today, it’s gone.
Staying cool has helped.

I slept rubbish last night too.
Went and got an ice block out of the freezer and put it between my feet in bed, within five minutes I’d cooled down enough to get some lovely shut eye. 😃

So if anyone’s got ice blocks in the freezer, …..wrap a t.towel round one, and put it between your feet.
It really works. Circulates your blood back round your body colder. 🥳

txn.  Whereas me I'm putting on the electric blanket throughout the night, my legs/feet feel cold all the time.

Knackered.  DH was restless all night.  He decided to fetch the laundry in at 6.30 muttering that 'it is raining'.  usually he never hears a thing!  Then he decided to unwrap his tablets by the bed, do any of you know how LOUD packaging is in the early hours  >:(.  As was stirring the meds in a glass of fizzy water ....... woke at 9.30 !

Slow day avoiding the sunshine I think.
