I notice that old lady in the shop window is bending over her waist far too much  consequently when I straighten my back aches.

Recovering after a long weekend of major family time. It was a stat holiday here on Monday and also my entire family, (including my brother and sister-in-law from Vancouver) celebrated my Dad's 90th.  Maggie got all the pets and scratches she could ever want.
It's a snow day today (no work) so I can relax a bit more.

Feeling loved up    . I met a dog that I haven't seen since November, he was SO pleased to lick, wag, fuss, cuddle in  .

Feeling a bit jittery...had some left over Starbucks from a family breakfast at work but it wasn't decaf. 
Happy to be able to get Mags out for a walk after the storm. Sidewalks are plowed but still icy.

Her paws were dryish, the snow is dry and the ice is too cold to melt even in the sun.  I wear insulated winter boots with a good grippy sole.  When I think of wellies, rain boots come to mind.
