Sore throat, runny nose, uh oh. Daughter visited from London in the week and dropped her and her boyfriends cold on us before returning to London. Luvverly! Made a nice beef stew and dumplings for dinner though so a warm broth!

Why do people visit when they are carrying a Germ  >:(.  Some of the Bugs doing the rounds are vile: typical flu/covid symptoms which are lasting 8-10 days overall  :-\

Weeeelll ....... I'm currently watching a clock with the hands slowly going backwards  :o. Could this B due to Halloween .........  :-\

Restocked our cabinets this afternoon - as we are decorating a lot of items are going for sale.  OH the dust  :-X.  DH has done a very good job thus far ....... it'll do for another 20 years B4 we need to do the walls  ;D: however, a new carpet is in the background which means moving all the furniture and stuff again  :-\

Fire lit. Feet up.  📺 on.  No door rappers yet, we have apples to hand ......... no sweeties here except me  8)

We never get trick or treaters. We buy the chocolate minis just incase. Just an excuse to eat them ourselves if no one comes. I always decorate a pumpkin but don’t put it on public display ha ha there’s the secret. Went to a party this year but interestingly it wasn’t a Halloween party, it was a post production celebration of an art installation that I helped with the admin with. I made a cake that looked a bit like the art. Ish. Tasted ok. Wore a glittery mask but the elastic had gone so it kept sliding down my face🤪

Have laundry on the line.  Hanging.  Limply.
Breakfast to hand.

Pickled shallots done today. Put a Birds Eye chilli in the jars as I like ‘em spicy!

Not done much today apart from cough and sneeze 🤧 now my nose is so blocked I can’t breathe. Blimmin cold 😏

Oh YUK  :-X  :pills:

Watched wildlife.  Day began very wet until mid-morning, it's been calm and sunny since.  Home now, stopped by the chippy for a quick supper.

WOW!  DH and I were on a School Trip in 1968, not together then, I was with another  :o.  Recently I found the Hotel in which we stayed on GOOGLE Maps.

Same old. Same old.  ::)

You'll love it.  Every other shop is a chocolate shop.  It's like Venice but colder.
