Sorting two tins of buttons  ;D :D.  Some go back to the 1950s, sadly Mum gave the best 1s from my childhood to a Museum  >:( :(.

Laundry whizzing round.  Have been watching wild birds, melting snow, grey skies .

These are from Grandmas on both sides; my maternal Aunt; both Mum and MinL - sadly my Mum gave a lot of my childhood buttons to a Museum ......  :'( now in the care of Manchester Uni ..  When it was wet or if I was ill Mum would produce the tin for me to sort through, I don't know what that was enjoyable  ::)

Too much  ;D - it's warmer, so have spent 3 hours pulling up weeds.  YIPEE, a lot of what I should have done 12 months ago but couldn't due to the rain, now done.  Which means however, that I will never again catch up  :-\ even with the help of DH.

More tidying: I've had a large box of daily papers 'still to read' back to 2019.  So I have Set To!  Some articles, particularly on recycling, I will keep 2 one side for reference.  The rest are going into the recycling bin .

Laundry whizzing round.  Had a short, brisk walk round the village.

Light lunch eaten.

Today I did a Nordic Walking course. I want to go on Nordic walks at my local Forestry Commission place, but you have to do the course first. So I did. Had a cuppa with two ladies off the course afterwards. Came home tired but happy, and have booked in to do my first walk in a couple of weeks. It gives you quite a workout!

If correctly taught, Nordic Walking is a work out.  Imagine doing that traditionally across snow filled fields ......... we often see people using poles incorrectly.  Me, I trip over mine so gave them up long ago  ;D

Where will the walk take place?
