....... packing is easy
. Make a list. Lay on spare bed. Lay in case, tick off on list, close lid and sit on the case. Hard
. How long are you going for, anything 4fotten can surely be bought on ship?
Stow was quiet today ;-). People parking in the square where they liked
Evening meal eaten. Fire lit. Feet up. Birthday tomorrow

Had a walk to the village shop/back. Light lunch, a bit of house work. Laundry ready to put out in the morning, weather allowing.
Gave DH his 1st pressie this evening - a bottle of something good; he returned with a tray on which is a
Lindt
teddy complete with red heart

. over the Centuries my family has always recycled wrapping paper, some went round for many years: there were often 15-17 at Grandma's from C.mas Eve and we could see the pieces becoming smaller and smaller and ....... this morning I decided to pack appropriate pieces into suitcases rather than carrier bags and found some from the 1960s
as well as some not even used.
We will never have to buy again. Now so much birthday left overs though .......... DH did suggest shredding it all into the compost
.
Light lunch to hand. More recycling/sorting later

Bird feeders topped up, fresh water given [by DH]
Cleaned the fridge/freezer that is being collected this week - free to good home ;-)

Spent 2 hours looking for my paying-in building society book: found in the bottom of the handbag, looked through 4 times already. There's a hidden part. Apparently.
During that 2 hours I was also looking for the address book, last used in mid-December. By the bed, WTF ...........
My heart rate is slowly subsiding
