Big grocery shop
Began removing duck weed from the top pond, then onto the bottom and there is a LOT of blanket weed.  Sadly I don't know whether there is likely to be dragon fly eggs in it but I have to take it out as the fish were struggling to swim around  .

Cut back the hollyhocks, they will go into the council bin to avoid spreading too many seeds  .  A few unusual coloured seeds kept.

Began digging out hellebores where a large pepper plant is to be sited then the hellebores can go back underneath it.

Home now, cuppa to hand

Tried to eat 

Put out laundry, there's a stiff breeze and a Very Black Cloud
Lifted in the pelagoniu8ms into the porch out of the cold wind: frosts 4cast 
Need to find space for the other tender plants ........ during the year I have taken cuttings = more and more and 

Eaten a light lunch.  Need to have a sleep now.

Went to our local shopping centre today. I've never seen so many kids with their stressed out parents in one place  . What on earth is going on I thought...
It was a meet and greet with the gladiators from the telly! Huge queues waiting for a photograph followed by a go on the inflatable platform, wearing an inflatable suit, trying to knock lumps out of each other 
Hubby and I decided to pass and opted for a coffee and huge cake at Patisserie Valerie ☕️🍰

I'm with you on the cake  everywhere seems to be busy with kids ....... and I thought that they were back in school 

Improving by the hour.  Out in the garden in warm sunshine

Laundry on the line. Bowl of chocolate ice cream to hand.  TV remote at the ready  . toe tapping already.

Began planting Spring bulbs

More clearing of duck weed from the ponds: weeding various pot plants and moving them to different situations to get colour around the pond.  Fed neighbours' cat a bit of fresh raw trout from the fillets.
