Ooh Maggie. What are you like?  ;D….
We’ve been so lucky with all of our dogs - none of them chewers thankfully.

I’ve just returned from a walk with Dylan this morning. A young lady was trying to walk 2 adult dogue de Bordeaux! They saw my little Dylan and one was foaming at the mouth (or maybe it was drooling  :o) and growling, trying to get to him! Needless to say I crossed the road sharpish. What is going on with people insisting on either having dogs they can barely control or the aggressively-bred breeds that cause chaos - beggars belief!

Aww I do my best with mummy bear  ;D….On the subject of Berwick, has anyone been to Eyemouth? Is it worth me taking her for a wee half day whilst we’re down there? 🤔

R U open plan?  Is there a way to block off the rooms where there is furniture  :-\

As for lunging, it's something that pups often do as they get bolder.  The larger breeds often don't mature until 2-2.5 years old.  Lots of observance of her behaviour with people/dogs that she doesn't know, from a distance.  Body language says a lot.

dogue de Bordeaux are all shoulder, mastiff-type breed - a neighbour had one and he was lovely but very strong, her husband walked him.  Often big dogs don't know their own strength and appear intimidating!

Me - out of bed, bathed, dressed; breakfast to hand

Yes I remember liking Eyemouth.

That all sounds lovely CLKD

I was up later than usual, up in the night with stomach ache.  Not usual for me, but health is wobbly since the start of the pandemic and the start of hrt (even though it made me feel better initially)

Just eating pasta, that's gentle enough and then will slowly tidy.  Might go for a walk later.  Taking it slow.  Seem to be having to do that a lot lately.

Interestingly Folic Acid and Selenium seem to help quite a bit with my wobbly energy, so going to take them regularly for a while.

Softly cooked rice helps too.  I often open a can of 'Devonshire' custard straight from the tin or rice pud.  Hot Bovril with toast to keep hydrated.  Marmite on toast.  Little and often.

LIVE yoghurt ;-). DH home now, evening meal eaten.  Cuppa to hand.  Blackbird singing outside the window  8)

Great.  Would love to have a view  :-\ but want a garden with space for a water feature  ::).  Found a cottage on line in Craster - would I give up my space for a court-yard garden and a continuous view of the sea ?  Not yet :'(

It's a stunning area Jaypo (especially on a day like today)  8)
Had my eyes tested today. You can pay £10 to have an "OCD test",?! as well as the routine eye exam. Geez, I am already that way inclined but I thought, go on then, let's have that too. More of an in depth look at the back of the eye.
She did at lot of "hmm, okaaay, yep" and I thought, "oh God, she's bloody clocked something!" I had my funeral hymns picked out and everything 😲 before she said.......
"Nice healthy pair of eyes"!
Geez oh  :o  ;D

 ;D

It's a bit like Desert Island Discs: which 8 records would you chose  :D

Sat in the sun, pulling blanket weed  >:( from the bottom pond: tons of the stuff.  Sorted out the oxygenators, blanket weed onto the compost.  Tied in a climbing rose, sorted out tubs for hydrangeas which get overwhelmed in the borders.

Light lunch part taken off.  Garden centre trip done  :whist:

It's been pretty warm the past 2 days so Maggie's walks have been shorter, the bonus is the heat tires her out so she naps more and I can get stuff done around the house lol.

Housework - haven't you got past the stage of sitting to watch Maggie sleeping ;-) ?

Yesterday I sat watching wildlife.  Today we are out and about.

Yesterday I sat watching wildlife.  Today we are out and about.

I haven't watched her sleep since she was a few months old  ;D. Once she's down I'm at it getting stuff done.

Morning shift done, Maggie walked, sprinkler on (see Doing Stupid things thread...) Mags and I are on the front porch out of the sun. I put 3 ice cubes in her water dish so she has something to do while I type lol.
Oh now the entire bowl of water is on the porch ;D
