Where is she staying in Edinburgh CC? That’s my home town! She'll love it.
The weather is so unpredictable in Scotland. It’s looking like possible snow showers  :o but you just never know up here  ;D

Dd's visiting her roommate from university, who is studying at the vet college so I'm assuming her friend lives nearby. She's there from the 27th to the 2nd.  Just want to make sure she's packing warm clothes.

Anything that she needs she can buy in the Sales ;-).  Keeping layered with woollen clothing, socks, an umbrella.

Eaten some soup and toast which I made myself  :whist:

Yesterday we looked after a neighbours' dog until 4.30 p.m.  Home to watch Horse of the Year Show.  Bed by 12.30, at 12.45 we heard a loud bang and a cat crying.

This morning at 9.45 I woke to find neighbours' elderly cat on our patio, who had obviously not made it through the night  :'(.  Wrapped in a thick towel we brought him inside, then told the neighbours.

Then: into town to sort monies, do our final pre-Festive shop; home for light lunch : have you seen the time, not a child in the house washed  ;D

Time to open another card  ;)

I couldn't find any signs of him having been knocked into, mouth, nose, eyes clean: no sign of mess under his tail which would have indicated a knock.  Probably a heart attack.  I will miss his demanding scratching on our lounge window, wanting to come in.

A friend called in a whilst ago with a card :-))).  Another is due to visit later.  Fire lit.

Pancakes later with sugar and lemon  8)

So nice that you wrapped him up and brought him in, CLKD 🌺
Got a quote for a new boiler - it's on its last legs. Just what we need at Christmas  :bang:

Pantomimes are fun, lots of innuendo for adults and songs etc. for kids.  I used to crinche because my sister wanted to be the centre of attention from the age of 3 so we had to sit downstairs so that she could go on stage  :o  :-\.  When 'stars' were employed to promote their songs, somehow woven into (not) the script, panto changed from rolling fun to a kid of gap to accommodate the star  >:(.  Oh the costumes, over done make up .......

Songbird - having had 2 gingers kittens killed on a road many years ago, a few nights apart; followed by other pets ......... we had their other cat here by the fire for several Winters  :-*.  She has some of our snowdrops growing on top of her place.

Opened another pressie ..........  :-* :-*

Taking the cockapoo for his festive groom. He resembles a yeti at the minute. Preparing myself for the usual ticking off for not making sure his coat is silky smooth with no tiny "tuggy bits" in his coat. Blimey, I do my best but I'm no groomer, that's her Job! Think I'll go elsewhere if I get told off today  :poke2:  >:(

 :o

I used to manage to groom one side of my cocker because I could pull her towards me, however: the other side allowed her to wander away and as for her feet!  She would scream if any1 took scissors close to them.  She also knew that the tin bath was for her  ;D

DH has started to put lights round the lounge  :-*  8).  I've cleared up wild bird feeders, sorted utility room and started on the next laundry load.  It sits on the floor, sulking  ::)
