 ;D

Happy Saturday!  Up for breakfast, then taking Mags for her morning walkies (brrr cold morning) then grocery shopping, puppy class (week 3), and whatever else I can think of to fill my day.

Happy Saturday to you too CC.  ;D

Altho, mines not a very happy one, had a night from hell last night, just couldn’t get to sleep, then when I did, I couldn’t stay asleep. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Oh well, hope today is better than last night! 🤞🏼

I hate those kinds of nights .......... sometimes I wake to find out whether I've been asleep  >:(  ::)

So far same old.  Same old.  As well as the start of clearing the dining room of stuff: jewellery that needs selling/boxing/charity; old postcards ........ letters to file, remember those hand written tips  8).  It's too nice 2B inside, sun is warm.

Retrievers always smile and the tail never stops wagging  :-*.  Did U tell doggy care so that they can take precautions? A good excuse for a walk too ;-)

Are u referring to her pink eye? Yes, I told them and as long as the vet clears her, it's all good with them. Her treatment is done tomorrow.

Coffee is a stimulant.  Using an anti-perspirant B4 bed might ease those issues.  Not a deodorant ..........

Met with friends
Home for light lunch
Sorted laundry
Began washing up crocks
Met with more friends
Home now, fire lit, spuds cooking

A large bowl full left for tomorrow. 😋

Tidied bedroom up, and changed the bed sheets. Cleaned up kitchen now watching tele.

Been and had my hair done ready for my holiday in two weeks time.
Had a good day actually, hair looks good, & had a good chat and a good laugh with my hairdresser. 👍

We changed our plans due to the rain.  After breakfast I began clearing the dining room with intent - have found half-filled diaries that I had forgotten, will read then shred.  One goes back to 1991.  "Why does something that I really want to do make me feel so ill" and I was taken straight back to those mornings  :'(

Pausing for a lovely bread roll covered with raspberry 'jam'.  Then onward!

Spent 2 hours today (that I’ll never get back) trying to renew mum’s disabled “blue badge”. Really thought it would be straightforward, given the fact she qualified 3 years ago at age 80 but, oh no, not with our Local Authority! Had to go through war and peace yet again! Had to produce her birth certificate and proof of address “yet again” as well as explain in great detail “again” how far she can walk, how long it takes her to walk 20 metres, how much pain she is in while walking etc etc. And it’s clear she is not guaranteed to get it renewed!
Blimey, how is it that some characters in our society get every benefit going (not always justified either!) and I have to jump through hoops to get a blue badge for an elderly lady who is slow and unsteady on her feet?
It makes my blood boil ladies.  :bang: Rant over…
