Slept heavily
Kitchen sorted
Restocked our cabinets at the antique shop
Into the supermarket for a picnic ready for 2morrow
Added items to the Trussell Trust food bank collection point
Home for light lunch
Heating on low
Wrapping paper and gifts spread over the lounge floor, guess what I'll be doing later

Work day done, didn't do much in between shifts. Took Mags for a long 6 months birthday walk since the weather was pretty darn nice today. Doused the Christmas cake with more brandy.

Is she allowed to go further now
? Does she sniff?
We bought loo rolls this morning: apparently - they last 50% longer
: is that when the packet isn't undone
. They are 'new' - PHEW! I wouldn't want to be buying 'used'
.
Fire lit. TV on, avoiding the footie

Took my two little pooches a lovely walk round a Lanark Loch,it was lovely, they were fascinated by the swans but as the swans are about 4 times bigger than them, I kept them on a tight leash

Taken stuff to the food bank and charity shop. Bt another book.
Long walk in misty cool air.
Took all the un-read books, in a large box, upstairs ......
Home for light lunch than off to the bank in another town.
Fire lit. Feet up.

Had a lovely day in Glasgow. A bit of Christmas shopping and then some scrummy pasta and wine at “Amarone”. The Cockapoo was popped into doggy day care (literally across the road from us) and we jumped on the bus (again across the road from us!) Think we might just do it again in the New Year

Busy dreams
Woke to the heating chuntering gently
Brisk walk after breakfast, needed gloves and a hat
Light lunch then more tidying.
Wrote most of the cards, need to buy stamps tomorrow - new ones probably!
Put another log on the fire
Sorting laundry later
Strictly on at 8.00

Happy Saturday..
Grocery shopping this morning, making chicken noodle soup for lunch (it's a good soup day weatherwise) had to cancel Maggie's last puppy class as she's under the weather. She was coughing and retching a bit yesterday while I was at work, dd texted to tell me and asked if daycare had mentioned anything. I tried to call the vet but the clinic was closed early. She seems better today, just tired from her time at daycare. Going to make some cinnamon swirl shortcake cookies later, first time for these ones. I made my Christmas cake about a month ago and I always send a hunk of it to my brother and sister-in-law on the west coast. They were here at the end of October and my sil was excited to be able to help make it this year. Apparently she loves it. I can't stand it myself

Tnx C.C. Puppy may need feeding? If she is growing her gut may be empty = early morning retching (bile) and coughing. I tried to get my spaniel down to what the Vet suggested she should weigh but never succeeded due to the fact that her gut was empty.
MayB feeding little and often as she has a growth spurt might ease symptoms?
Been for a walk
Drove into town to book new flooring - mid January
That'll make us clear up
Light lunch
Stamps onto cards ready to post
Fire lit
Papers sorted .........
