Shopping trip in Glasgow today (for holiday clothes). TK Max came up with the goods.  Lovely underwear and 3 tops - one of them is a bit “booby!”………hubby’s eyes were out on stalks!
Pizza from Dominos tonight…

Why do people buy new clothes when going on holiday, who has seen it previously  ;D

Was it shoes and handbags to match  :whist:

Fish fingers, mash and mushy peas ....

I'm with you CLKD- I hate clothes shopping too, just can't be bothered to try stuff on. Just jeans and t-shirts or leggings for me.

Literally just got out of bed, breakfast, fed pup, no sleeping in on weekends.

Later this morning is Maggie's last puppy class

Oh and beware any of you in Edinburgh, ;) dd is coming over between Christmas and New Years.  Her former roommate from university is going to the vet college there and she's visiting for a week.

How exciting for DD  8).  That means flying  :-\

A gentle walk in the sunshine
Took 'nurofen' at 9.00, so far OK.
Laundry and dishwasher sorted
Fed birds and pond fish

MotoGP on TV all weekend, in between I'll rest.

Sat papers to browse through ........

Yes, it will be a long flight for her with a layover in London, I think.  Her longest flight was in her last year of high school, she was with a group of students that flew down to Ecuador to help build homes in a small village, with all the connecting flights, and delays she was on a plane for like 20 hours, if I remember.

Took pup for a walk, now she has the zoomies.   ::)

Zoomies ............ is she OK on the lead?  Does she want to be home rather than out and about?

Taken paracetamol to ease the ache in the jaw.  Opened the curtains to allow the sun into the lounge, now I'm too warm  ;D

Leash walking is a work in progress but she's getting a bit better everyday.  The zoomies were in the house, luckily we have a long straightaway from the back of the house to the front door so she can go as fast as she can..she does laps basically, then after a minute or two, she settles.

Our kittens used to do that: we had a round house in that hall went into the lounge on the left, into the kitchen then turn right into the hall  ;D.  Up and down the stairs.  Eventually 1 kitten would hide behind a door waiting for his brother to race down the hall  then they would pronk, B4 turning round to repeat ........... didn't have films in those days  ::)

It is noise that Maggie finds difficult away from home?  Could it be an idea to take her at different times of day, mayB when it's quieter?

She gets the zoomies because she is a very active pup and I guess the walks don't release all the excess energy. Because she's still little I have to watch how long we are out, no more than 20 - 30 minutes per walk. When she's older I can take her out longer.  She gets a walk when I get home from work in the morning, early afternoon and after dinner.  She's getting better at tolerating loud noises and seems to enjoy getting out  more now. She gets lots of time to sniff and discover and will sometimes meet a new dog and have a bit of a play.
Our trainer says to just let her go and run until she's had enough.
