Menopause Matters magazine ISSUE 81 out now. (Autumn issue, September 2025)
I've been on sea buckthorn for just over a week now and I'm already seeing a difference with the vaginal dryness (but not so much the eyes - never mind, downstairs is more important!). I just hope it continues - I'm just about to buy a much larger packet.
Excellent nicodemus. What dose are you taking? If you motive a difference, I'm sure the eyes will come.I'm taking it more for my nose/sinuses and I think it helps, but I'm only taking half the recommended dose. I wonder if I should increase.I've decided it didn't cause my eyelid irritation after all. Probably just hay-fever, but because my nose is a, lot better, it didn't seem like hay-fever
Excuse my ignorance flossie, but what do dry eyes feel like??
Yes perfect. That's what I expected. Just checking my eyelid allergy is not dryness
No. To be honest I've had it before. It's just been mightily bad this year. But the weather's been good and I live rural. It's calming now. I'm on strong antihistamines every day anyway. Just don't seem to have helped that.I have tons of allergies, so it's not unexpected.
