I found Fawlty Towers awful back in the day. Maybe I'd like it now  :P

I quite liked Hyacinth, and Are you being served, but that was about it, oh and Not the Nine O'clock news, but hated the young ones and bottom.

How very true Jaypo. 🤪.    ;D

Completely forgot about Not The Nine O’clock News, loved it.
Kenny Everett show was good too. ( but only if your sense of humour is warped, like us)  ;D

I actually watched a Kenny E show on youtube a few weeks ago and it was so different to how I remembered, but still good. He was defintely one of a kind.

Oh I adored Kenny, he was so hilarious watched his show voraciously. I didn’t like hot gossip though, my little sister and I used to be really mean and disparaging about them because they were trying so hard to be so obvious and we hated that stuff( still do). But the humour was so wacky. Loved it when Billy Connolly was in his show, they were brilliant together.

Sad that it wouldn't be allowed these days. Probably the same with Not the Nine o'clock News  :'(
Instead it's all about shouty wannabees taking their clothes off and then thinking they're celebrities  >:(

Not The Nine O'clock News as very current, almost to the hour when events were happening, apparently Scripts had to be altered at the last moment  :o

News is moving so fast these days that comedians wouldn't be able to keep up  ::)

Hardly anything from the 70s and 80s would be allowed now, god forbid we laugh.

And they were actually capable of changing the scripts. Not sure "comedians" these days would be capable of such things  :-X
