Anyone using this successfully? I know I asked a while ago now, but I think it's in wider circulation now. Any reviews from personal experience most welcome! 👍

Thanks for finding this. I'm just interested to know how folk chose Intrarosa or especially if it was chosen for them by a specialist and why. I'm interested to know the DHEA impact and how/if it works better for some than, say, Vagifem or Ovestin, despite not being topical oestrogen? 🤞

Hi postmeno:  there has been a few older threads on Intrarosa.  Some find it great and others not so much.  I believe there is a few ladies on here who have tried recently.  Like you, I'm interested in the reviews.

I did a Google for you and it seemed 50/50.  So looks like it’s very individual, so perhaps all you can do is give it a trial? x

Thank you, ladies. I was hoping to hear from anyone who has it currently in their regime, but maybe they are in a tiny minority. I'll keep hoping! 🤞

I think it might not have a large uptake due to the cost to the nhs, so doctors won’t be promoting it

Oh, WHY does everything boil down to money, Marchlove?! I bet Intrarosa would be prescribed privately in a heartbeat, too! Sigh!

I know it’s a disgrace!!

Saying that though it is licensed and if you’re having trouble with Vagifem or even if you just say you are, I should think they’ll let you trial it.

You never know with these things if they’re going to work unless you give it a go and although half the reviews on Google were negative the others raved about it!

Yeah, so many variables in reviewing as opposed to experience. We tend not to know or understand the whole journey in a review, the context? Intrarosa is not topical oestrogen so would have a different profile to, say, Vagifem and it's that that interests me. Not sure I have capacity for much more experimentation though! 😂

Hi, I just started on it this week after a few years on Vagifem and Ovestin.
So far its fine. I had sone initial burning internally the first 2 nights but nothing since. There is some very slight oily leakage but nothing major and if youre used to using Yes VM/OB its no worse.
Only thing Im slightly worried about is that Ive got some urethral irritation on the go. I think Vagifem is better for bladder symptoms. But - i just couldnt go on anymore. Could no longer sit on chairs at all anymore so have had to switch to Intrarosa and see.
Im thinking of maybe using Vagifem twice a week inbetween Intrarosa. Will wait a bit longer to see how it goes.
